How To Heal From The Stress Of Overwhelm

Did you know that being stressed out and overwhelmed can make you physically sick?

Sometimes, a disease is caused by stress. Or, at least stress makes it worse.

I love Western medicine. It saved my life.

But, I also think that the model of Western Medicine today as it stands is incomplete.

Which is why I am very careful about the doctors I take advice from.

In many cases, the last education a doctor had was from when they graduated medical school.

Which means you might be getting a diagnosis from 1975!

I am constantly seeking to surround myself with the best of the best in nutrition, medicine, and health.

Health is energy. Energy is life.

And, while it’s important to focus on pathology (i.e., what’s wrong), it’s also important to look at the body as a whole.

A holistic approach to healing is the way.

The best doctors know this.

Which I why I am thrilled to bring you Dr. Aviva Romm, MD on the podcast today.

Dr. Romm is Yale-trained doctor, but she also specializes in being a midwife, herbalist, ecologist, mom, and writer.

She’s pure Love. She’s innovating. And she’s here to give you a second opinion about your health today on the podcast.
